Floci: run AWS Neptune locally

AWS Neptune was forked from BlazeGraph a long time ago, the Github repo was archived in March 2026. If you want to run Neptune locally there was the LocalStack road, but the licensing changed dramatically.
Open source always finds a way and so there is now Floci, a light, fluffy and always free AWS emulator alternative. It includes Neptune plus heaps of other AWS services.
Amazon Neptune is a fast and reliable graph database service built specifically to handle highly connected datasets with millisecond latency. It features a high-performance storage architecture supporting major graph models and query languages, including Apache TinkerPop Gremlin, openCypher and SPARQL. Making it ideal for building complex applications like recommendation engines, fraud detection systems and knowledge graphs.
